Lessons from COVID-19.

Learning remotely during COVID-19 has created unprecedented challenges for millions of students and families across America, exacerbating the long-existing inequities across racial and socioeconomic lines. We've lost access to teachers and school resources – and parents have struggled to balance their jobs, or job loss, with making sure their child doesn’t fall behind in school. But these problems will not disappear once in-person learning resumes. While some parents can afford to pay for tutors or in-home instructors, not all can. In education, there's a gap to bridge. Everyone should have access to quality after-school support.
